Stefano Pilati's time at Yves Saint Laurent

Stefano Pilati served as creative director of Yves Saint Laurent from 2004 to 2012. Yes, I said Yves Saint Laurent, because the brand still had Yves attached to it during his time until Stefano left & Hedi Slimane came in & dropped the "Yves" off in 2012.

Stefano has had many incredible collections. One of the things that I love about his Saint Laurent collections is that they were timeless, chic, sexy, & dark but still provided many shades of color. Even though Hedi Slimane (creative director of the brand from 2013 to 2016) & Anthony Vaccarello (the current creative director) have had some amazing collections at Saint Laurent, they just don't serve me the way Stefano's did. I love the variety of his work. Below I will post a few of my favorite collections from Pilati.
