He’s lived in Milan since taking on this new creative direction. For the Resort 2024 collection, Davis was very inspired by the way people present themselves in Milan with their style. Davis’s focus within his past three collections under the Ferragamo brand has consisted of slim, straight-cut, nip-waisted, and sharp fabrications in a contemporary way. Maximilian sticks to the Ferragamo house codes but adds his chicer, unique flair that can also cater to a younger clientele. Another thing that Davis includes that I adore is that he designs his pieces to be worn by any gender, so we get that androgynous feel. Davis has taken Ferragamo to the next level of sophistication. The color palette of this resort collection is simply chef’s kiss.
